What are your "sessions"/"current session"/"active sessions"?
Every time you login to Snapdocs on a device, a "session" is created.
The "current session" is the session that you are currently logged into. If you've logged into your Snapdocs account using different browsers or devices, they'll be listed as your "other active sessions."
For every session, you can see what device was used to login, the IP address, and the approximate location of the session based on the IP address. The location listed for each session is not entirely accurate, as they are only approximations. The location of your session can also not be changed, as this is something set by your Internet service provider.
Your sessions are listed to offer transparency into where your account is logged into. If you ever don't recognize a place or device on the list, it may be that someone else has logged into your account. If you're ever worried that someone has logged into your account without your permission, you can force all active sessions to end. Any device or browser that your account is currently logged into will be signed out. Should anyone want to access your account, they will have to login.
How to access your sessions
1. To see your sessions, login to your account and click on your name in the upper right-hand corner. A drop-down menu should appear. Click on "Settings" to navigate to your account settings.
2. On your "Settings" page, you should see on the right-hand side a section labeled "Active Sessions."
How to log out of all sessions
1. Once you're on your "Settings" page, just click on the "Sign out all" link to log out of all sessions. If you get a pop-up that asks if you would like to leave the site, confirm that you would like to leave the site. This will just refresh the page.
2. The page should refresh. You'll have successfully signed out of all other active sessions if you see that only the "Current Session" is listed.
