New Features
Adding digitized title documents to full eClosings with Remote Online Notary
In Sep 2020, we launched Hybrid closings with automatically digitized title documents, a new feature that allows Settlement Agents to experience the full benefits of a digital closing with the ability to upload their title documents for eSigning.
Today, we’re expanding that ability to all full eClosings with Remote Online Notary.

Feature benefits:
-
The Consumer can review and eSign more documents ahead of the appointment.
-
Lender and Settlement companies no longer need to manually digitize their documents.
To learn more about this feature, please reach out to your Snapdocs Customer Success Manager.
Snapdocs and eOriginal partnership
Snapdocs' eVault integration is adding eOriginal to its suite, providing a seamless process for secure storage and management of the eNote from beginning to end of the closing process.

Enhancement
Canceling a notary request
Moving forward, when the Lender or Settlement cancels a closing, Snapdocs will cancel the notary request if the signing is not yet complete.
If the signing is already complete, we will keep the request as is, and the Scheduling company will proceed with the invoice.
Bug Fixes
We fixed the following bugs:
-
“Consumer opts out of eSigning” email did not send to the Consumers.
-
“Please verify or set the signing appointment” email did not send to the Settlement and Lender.
-
The Settlement uploaded all title documents, but the user interface displayed as “title package has been skipped”.
