How to Integrate with Resware

Erin Pierce -

Snapdocs offers an integration with Resware that can be easily completed by someone familiar with Resware. See below for detailed instructions.

If you are a Signing Service and your Clients use Resware follow these steps:

  1. Login to Snapdocs and go to your Clients page (admin → clients)
  2. Click into the client profile who wishes to integrate with Resware.
  3. Make sure all of the necessary Client Users and Signing Products are entered in Snapdocs. (Please note that the name of the product must be less than 30 characters.)
  4. Once the client account is fully set up, in the lower left corner, click on the button that says “Get Setup Instructions.”
  5. A PDF will download with instructions specific to this client and copy support@snapdocs.com

Once you have the instructions, send them to your client to complete the integration. Here is what can be found in the instructions:

  1. Specific action URLs for the partner to partner mapping page in Resware.
  2. Specific remote IDs for your Primary Contact Mapping section that ensures orders sent from Resware are assigned to the right user.
  3. Signing product IDs for mapping correctly from Resware to Snapdocs.
  4. Instructions on sending over your first few test orders.

**If you add Client Users or Signing Products after the Resware integration is completed, you will need to download the instructions again to add the new users and products to the Resware mapping.**

For Title Companies using Resware in house:

The integration for Title companies requires a couple more steps. Because the integration is set up for the Client to send orders through, not the admin, you must first set up your Resware team as a Client in Snapdocs. Here are steps to accomplish that:

  1. Login to your Snapdocs dashboard and click on Admin in the upper right corner and then on Clients in the drop down menu.
  2. Click on + Add Client
  3. Fill out the client page with information that reflects an internal Resware team. For example, set up a client called “My Company Name Resware.” Then click "Create New Client" to save.
  4. Once you save, the window will open to the new Client page. Then, add client users (your Resware/Snapdocs users) and signing products.
  5. Make sure you add all the signing products and at least one Client User, otherwise the instructions will not generate remote IDs for the mapping process. These IDs are uniquely generated for your Snapdocs integration so it's important that they are entered into Snapdocs before you download the instructions.
  6. When all the client users and signing products are added, you are ready to download the setup instructions and start the integration! Just click on “Get Setup Instructions” in the lower left corner and a PDF will download with specific step by step instructions.

Once you have the instructions, you are ready to complete the integration.

**The instructions will tell you to put your company name as the Partner, however, you can use any name you wish for the Partner section.**

If you encounter any issues while setting up or using the integration, please contact both support@snapdocs.com and support@adeptivesw.com in the same email. Snapdocs support is here to help you with questions about Snapdocs and the way Resware interacts with Snapdocs. If you have questions about using Resware, those need to be sent to Adeptive. We understand that the distinction may not always be clear, so go ahead and include both of us on the inquiry!

Lender mapping:

For clients who have a staff dedicated to Resware, we can set up a Resware-Resware partnership that matches the Lender field to the client in Snapdocs. Click here for lender mapping instructions.
