If the consumer has not eSigned prior to the wet sign appointment, they can still eSign from any compatible device (for example, laptop, tablet, or desktop computer) at the appointment. First, find out if the consumer has previewed their documents by checking on the status in Snapdocs.
- If they have finished previewing, they can use their existing credentials to login and eSign their documents.
- If they have not, they can set up their account, preview, and eSign all at the signing table.
If there are no compatible devices available for the consumer to eSign at the signing appointment, it is the settlement agent’s responsibility to print the full package for the consumer to wet sign. This can be downloaded from the closing in Snapdocs and should be scanned and uploaded once all relevant documents are wet signed.
