In a hybrid closing, it is important to make sure that the borrower eSigns the eSign closing documents. There are a few Snapdocs features that make easy!
If the signing appointment is approaching and the borrower has not eSigned, you can quickly send an eSign reminder with the click of a button.
To send a reminder, log into Snapdocs using the blue button a previous email if needed. Navigate to the eSign Status section of the closing and click Send an eSign reminder. Select the option to either send an email or text message reminder. Note: The messages sent via email or text cannot be edited.

If the borrower has not eSigned prior to the wet signing appointment they can easily eSign at the signing table. Have the borrower eSign using phone, computer, or tablet by either:
- Scanning the QR code on the printed wet sign cover page. This will bring the borrower directly to the place to 2FA into Snapdocs and preview and eSign their closing documents. Have the borrower preview the closing documents by scrolling to the bottom then click eSign next. Follow prompts to eSign and click finish.
- Pro Tip: Settlement can scan the QR code to check the eSign status for the closing.
- Searching email for subject line "Review and eSign your closing documents.” Click the button in the email and complete the 2FA sign in to access the eSign docs.
As a last resort, you can convert the closing to a full wet closing by clicking convert to wet closing in the Unsigned Documents section. Print the full wet sign package to be ink signed and uploaded back into Snapdocs to send to the lender.
