Consumer’s UI updates in closing with multiple consumers sharing the same email address
In hybrid and RON closings with multiple consumers who have their phone numbers but share the same email address, when a consumer logs into Snapdocs to eSign the documents, they will see the following UI changes:
- Updated 2FA screen:
- The “Choose another signer” button is displayed on the eSigning complete screen. When a consumer clicks on this button, they will see the above 2FA screen again.
- Updated UI in the consumer’s closing view, with the “Change signers” button is added. When a consumer clicks on this button, they will see the above 2FA screen again.
Updated “Documents” UI in lender’s view
We replaced the pencil icon in the “Documents” section with the “Update documents” drop-down menu:
We also updated the copy of the redraw component, which will be displayed when clicking on Add redraw documents.
Full eClosing - Updated the timing of the “Signing appointment” email reminder
The system will send the “Signing appointment” email reminder 30 minutes before to the appointment time.
Full eClosing - Each consumer must provide their unique email address
We will not allow consumers to share email addresses.
Updated the logic of when the system will/will not reprocess closing documents
The system will not reprocess closing documents if only the consumer’s email is updated.
The system will reprocess closing documents if:
One consumer’s email is updated to be the same as the other consumer’s email address, or
One consumer’s email is updated to be different than the other consumer’s email address; or
The consumer’s name is updated.
