Supported Document Formats

Snapdocs supports most commonly used document format types, however you may encounter some that are not. If you are having trouble uploading a file to an order, it is likely because the format is not supported.

Document formats accepted by Snapdocs

  • .pdf

  • .jpg

  • .jpeg

  • .doc

  • .docx

  • .png

  • .tif

  • .tiff

  • .xlsx

  • .rtf

  • .ppt

  • .pptx

  • .bmp

  • .xls

  • .txt

  • .msg

Any other format types will not successfully upload to Snapdocs and you will receive an error message. 

How to convert an unaccepted file format

Step 1: Open the file on your device.

Step 2: Select File --> Save As. 

Step 3: A window should open where you can edit the name and location of the file as well as select a format type. 

Step 4: Select a format type that is listed above and click save. 

You should now have a new file on your computer in a Snapdocs supported format type! Make sure you use your newly converted file when uploading to Snapdocs.
