In the event that a signed eNote needs to be redrawn, follow the same steps as you normally would for a redraw.
Additional Details and Considerations
-
When the redraw is initiated, the original eNote will automatically be unregistered from the MERS eRegistry and deleted from the eVault if your company is the controller and has location rights.
Important Note: If you have transferred the controller and location rights to another 3rd party/investor, you will need to get those rights back before initiating the redraw.
-
The copy of the original signed eNote will automatically be removed from the Manage Signed Documents section in the closing and replaced with the updated, new eNote once signed by the borrower.
-
The eNote can be eSigned either by itself or with other relevant hybrid eligible documents that need to be resigned.
