How does snoozing/setting an out of office work?

If you're busy, don't want to be disturbed, or will be away for an extended period of time, like on vacation or medical leave, you can snooze your notifications. You won't receive any signing notifications during the time that your notifications are snoozed. You'll automatically start receiving notifications once the specified amount of time has passed. 

If you set an out of office though, you won't receive any signing notifications during that time period. You also won't receive any notifications for signings that will occur during the time that you'll be out of the office. 

There are currently 2 ways to snooze your notifications or set an out of office.

Snooze your notifications through "My Profile."

1. Login to your Snapdocs account, go to "My Profile," and click the "Snooze for" button on the right.

2. You should then see a drop-down menu with the option to snooze your notifications anywhere from 30 minutes to 8 hours. If you're going to be away for an extended period of time, select the "Set an out of office..." option. 

3. If you've selected the "Set an out of office..." option, you should then see the following box. Set the start and end date and time for when you'll be "out of the office." You won't receive signing notifications while you're out of the office. You also won't receive notifications for signings that will take place during this time. 

4. If you've successfully snoozed your signing notifications, you should see the following banner appear at the top of the page:

Snooze your notifications through a signing notification.

1. When you receive a signing notification, click the "Snooze these notifications for..." link.

2. You should then see the image below.

3. Select how long you would like to snooze your notifications for. If you'd like to temporarily stop receiving notifications for more than 8 hours, select the "Out of office..." option to set the start and end date and time for when you'll be unavailable. 

4. Depending on whether you've chosen to snooze your notifications, set a current out of office, or set a future out of office, you should see one of the following confirmation messages:

5.  If you'd like to cancel snooze and resume receiving signing notifications, just click either the "Cancel Snooze" or "Cancel out of office" button.

 

Can I cancel snooze/out of office at any time? 

Yes, if you've snoozed your notifications or set an out of office, but change your mind at any point, you can always re-enable your notifications. There are currently 2 ways to cancel your snooze or out of office.

1. Login to your account and click either the "cancel" or "change" link in the banner that appears at the top of the page.

 

2. Login to your account, go to "My Profile," and click either "Cancel Snooze" (if you've snoozed your notifications) or "Change out of office" (if you've set an out of office) button.

 

If you've successfully canceled your snooze or out of office, you should see the following banner at the top of the page:
