If the consumer did not eSign prior to the wet-sign appointment, they can still eSign from any compatible device (e.g. laptop, tablet, or desktop computer) at the appointment. First, find out if the consumer previewed their documents by checking on the status in Snapdocs.
- If they finished previewing, they can use their existing credentials to login and eSign their documents.
- If they did not, they can set up their account, preview, and esign all at the signing table.
If there are no compatible devices available for the consumer to eSign at the signing appointment, it is the settlement agent’s responsibility to print the full package for the consumer to wet-sign. This is downloaded from the closing in Snapdocs and should be scanned and uploaded once all relevant documents are wet-signed.
