If you find yourself unable to eSign certain documents or feel uneasy about the process, you have the option to opt-out at any time.
This will then allow you to sign all of your documents in person at the signing table, rather than a portion being done electronically. In order to opt-out at any time:
Step 1: Open your closing dashboard.
Step 2: Review your documents by selecting Review.
Step 3: Under “Step 2 eSign some of your documents”, click I'd rather not eSign.
Step 4: Select your reason for not eSigning and then confirm you want to opt-out by selecting OK to complete the process.
Note: If there are multiple signers, all signers will have to sign all documents in person should one person opt-out of eSigning. If you opted-out by mistake, you can easily opt back in by clicking I want to eSign documents.
