Companies may look for signing agents who are fluent in other languages besides English in order to accommodate signers who may not be fluent in English or prefer to conduct a signing in a different language.
If you're fluent in another language, we recommend adding it to your profile. You never know if you might pick up some additional signings!
In this section, you can also indicate other certifications you have, such as if you are RON (Remote Online Notarization) or IPEN (In-Person Electronic Notary) certified. Be sure you select the technology provider name that is paired with your certification. These will be listed as "RON Certificate- [insert technology provider name]" and "IPEN Certificate- [insert technology provider name]".
Note: We recommend only listing languages that you're fluent in. You should be comfortable explaining loan documents in any language you list on your profile.
Step 1: After logging into your account at app.snapdocs.com, select My Profile in the left-hand side.
Step 2: On your profile page, locate the Additional Info section on the right side of the page. To add a language that you're fluent into your profile, select in the Languages spoken field.
Step 3: After clicking in the field, a list of languages and certifications that can be added should drop down. Find the language/certification you'd like to add to your profile from this list and select it to add it.
Step 4: You can also start typing in the name of a language/certification to quickly search through the list and see if there's a match.
Step 5: After selecting a language/certification from the list, it should appear in the field. You can add as many languages as you want, but again, we only recommend adding languages that you're able to comfortably explain loan documents in or perform.
Step 6: After making any changes to your profile, just be sure to click on the Update Profile in the upper-right corner of the page to save your changes.
Step 7: If you've successfully updated your profile, a confirmation should appear at the top of the page.
If you added a RON or IPEN certification, you will need to upload supporting documentation verifying this certification.
Step 1: Select on Credentials in the left-hand column.
Step 2: On your credentials page, locate the Additional Credential link on the right side of the page. Select on it to add an additional credential.
Step 3: Enter a name for the additional credential you are uploading.
Note: If you are uploading a RON or IPEN certificate, please be sure to title the document “RON Certificate- [insert technology provider name]” or "IPEN Certificate- [insert technology provider name]". So, if you are certified through the technology provider, Pavaso, the title of your certificate should read “RON Certificate- Pavaso”. If you are uploading a commission from your state that shows you are RON commissioned, please be sure to title the document “eNotary Commission- [insert state name]”. So, if you have a commission in the state of Utah that shows you are a remote online notary, the title of your document should read “eNotary Commission- Utah”.
Step 4: Click Select file to select a file on your device and upload it and click Save.
