Snapdocs strongly values security, which is why we notify users anytime we notice suspicious activity or logins on an account.
Typically what can trigger this are logins from different IP addresses or locations.
For instance, if 90% of the time you are logging in from an IP address in the Austin, Texas area, then all of a sudden there is a session showing activity from an IP in a different country, suspicions would be raised and a notification would be sent.
A useful tool to verify an IP address for yourself is Maxmind: https://www.maxmind.com/en/locate-my-ip-address
This site will allow you to look up an IP address. This is useful if you receive a notification of suspicious activity from an IP you don’t recognize. You can plug in the IP and see what location it is being generated from. That way, you can verify if you indeed had been operating in that area, or if an account you have may be compromised.
