Sending Signing Specific Notes and Documents in Resware

Resware notes only get posted to the specific Snapdocs signing they are added to.

After an order has more than one signing, any notes or documents must include a valid signing name in the subject line, or they will not successfully post to Snapdocs.

For example, if there is an order with two signings, with the following names:

- Signing 1

- Signing 2

Then, to add a document to Signing 1, the note in the Subject: section would have to include "Signing 1" (i.e., Signing 1: Closing Documents). The entire signing name must be included.

Choosing Signing Names

It is crucial to avoid using single-word names for signings, as they can easily be confused in subject lines. For instance, using "Seller" alone as a signing name can lead to ambiguity.

Consider an example where there are two signings in Resware: one named "Buyer" and the other "Seller." If the subject line reads "Buyer: The seller is on the way to the signing," it creates confusion because both signing names are present.

To prevent such misunderstandings, opt for more descriptive signing names that consist of multiple words, such as "Seller - Jones." This practice will enhance clarity and ensure that documents are correctly associated with the intended signing.

Note: Even if there is only one signing in Resware but multiple orders in Snapdocs, you still have to make sure that the subject line when you are sending docs over is exactly the same as the name of the signing in Snapdocs.
