Pro Feature: Shipping Label Automation

This feature enhances scheduling efficiency and minimizes closing delays by verifying shipping labels, adding tracking numbers to orders, and sending automated reminders to clients if no label is found one hour prior to signing.

Note: This feature is currently only available for Notary Connect Pro customers.

Label status updates

We will have a label column on the dashboard that will show the status of the shipping label. Each status is color coded and hovering over the status will provide more information as to what each color means. 

  • Red exclamation icon !: Error generating a label. 
    • This status is used when the client has a Fedex integration but the label did not generate for some reason. 

  • Green Yes: Label has been downloaded by the notary
  • Orange Yes: Label has not been downloaded by the notary
  • Purple Yes: Tracking number added to the order
  • Blue No: Label hasn’t been sent to the notary
  • Red No: Label is not found 
  • N/A = Gray: Orders that do not require shipping documents. 
    • The tooltip will display the delivery method (courier will drop off or notary will drop off)

Data extraction service

When the documents are uploaded, we will extract the tracking number from the shipping label. We will then add the tracking number to the order. This will send an email to the client so they can easily track the package. 

Shipping label is not found

When a label is not found, we will update the dashboard to show that no label was found. We will also send a reminder to the client to upload a label one hour before the signing time. 

If the client has not uploaded a shipping label at the time of the signing, we will auto-pin the order to the dashboard stating that the order still needs a shipping label.  Pinned order label

We will also notify the order owner of the missing label. The order owner can then call the client or send a follow up comment on the order if needed.
