In some cases, a company may ask to reschedule a signing appointment with you.
If you've been assigned to an order with a scheduling company and they'd like to reschedule, they can send you a request to ask if you're available or unavailable for the new appointment date and time.
When a company sends you a rescheduling request, you'll be notified either by email or text depending on your notification settings.
If the SMS setting "Signing gets rescheduled to a different time" is set to:
- Text - You'll receive any rescheduling requests via text. Please note that you must have a smartphone in order for text notifications to work.
- Email - You'll receive any rescheduling requests via email.
To toggle between the two notification options, simply select the Text/Email button.
Rescheduling Requests via Text
If you've chosen to receive rescheduling requests by text, look out for text messages similar to the example below that state the signer's name, "signing rescheduled to," and the new date and time.
To respond to the rescheduling request, simply select the link in the text message.
Rescheduling Requests via Email
If you've chosen to receive rescheduling requests by email, look out for emails similar to the example below that state the signer's name, "rescheduled to," and the new date and time.
To respond to the rescheduling request, simply select the Respond button in the email.
How to Indicate Your Availability
After selecting the link in the text message or the button in the email, you should be brought to the page of the order that is being rescheduled.
Locate the "This appointment has been rescheduled" text to the right-side of the page. In this section, you can see the previous appointment date and time and then the new appointment date and time.
To indicate whether you're still available to execute the signing at the new appointment date and time, simply select the Available or Not Available button to let the company know.
Tip: You can add any comments you'd like to send to the company in the optional notes field as well.
