Today’s Notary Connect Platform updates introduce streamlined scanback communication, comment creation via the Open API, and eSign status visibility in client view.

Streamlined scanback communication 

Updated email notifications for document uploads.

Previously: You received an email every time a notary uploaded a document, which often meant too many notifications.

Now: When the first document is uploaded, there’s a 3-minute window for additional scanbacks to be added. Once that window closes, you’ll receive a single email notification covering all uploads.


Comment creation via API

We’ve expanded the API to support creating and viewing comments.

API users can view details on adding this to their existing integration here. For questions, please contact your Snapdocs representative.


eSign status now available in client view

Connected Closing client users can now view the eSign status of a closing directly on the attached order. This means no more switching to a settlement agent account—making it faster and easier to track eSigning status.
