Order Form Updates and Title QC Requirements

Order Form Updates and Requirements

We've made the Snapdocs order form easier to use for any product or order type. Now, it dynamically adjusts based on the client and product you select—reducing manual clicks and improving accuracy.

Additional changes:

  • The client and product selection has moved to the top of the form.
  • Location details now appear further down for a more intuitive flow.
  • You can now add up to 4 signers per order directly in Snapdocs, although only the first two signers listed on the order will have the ability to make comments or preview documents.

Note: Orders created via API or TPS integrations currently support only the two signers. We plan to offer additional signers in a future release.

Requirements for RON orders only

RON orders now come with built-in intelligence—no more manually toggling order types.

What’s new:
  • When you select a RON product, the form will automatically adjust for RON orders.
  • You'll be required to enter the property state and the signer’s time zone to help match RON-certified notaries in that location.

Creating RON orders via TPS/API integration: Orders missing a property state will result in an error and won’t be created.

Editing RON orders: Once a notary is assigned, you can switch between RON products, but you cannot switch to an in-person closing or change the client/property state.

Snapdocs Title Quality Control: Process Update

If you use our Title Quality Control product, we’re improving our automation to speed up issue detection and resolution. We now use AI models to automatically review signed documents for errors—like missing pages or signatures—before sending them back to you.

To enable this enhanced experience, two additional data points are now required for orders directly created in Snapdocs:

  1. Property state
  2. The number of non-borrowing title holders

Note: The number of “non-borrowing title holders” is the difference between the number of signatories on the Title and the number of signatories on the Note. For example, if there are 2 signers on the Title (i.e., title holders) and 1 borrower on the Note (i.e., borrowing title holder), then the number of non-borrowing title holders is 1.

For orders created via API or TPS integrations:

  • Property state is required, and orders without it will error.
  • The number of non-borrowing title owners is not required to create an order, but we strongly encourage you to include in the special instructions. Your scheduling company will add the number to the order when it is received. Snapdocs' automated AI model cannot run all quality control checks without this information. We will notify you at a future date if your TPS system supports this field via integration.
    • The value should be a numerical value (e.g., 0, 1, 2).
    • After you create an order, you can edit the number of non-borrowing title holders at any time.
