Title Quality Control (QC) is a new feature that reviews scanbacks to ensure the package is executed correctly.
What is checked?
- Scans are eligible for recording (pages are clear, not cutoff, no smearing)
- No pages are missing
- All pages are signed, dated, initialed, stamped
- All handwritten dates and signatures are correct and legible
How will I know when the documents will be QC’d?
This feature will not be on all orders as customers must opt in and select the products they would like to receive QC.
Once scanbacks are uploaded, you will see that the quality control check is in progress on the order page.
How will I know the results when QC is completed?
When the check is completed, you will see the results on the order and in an email notification.

What if I have questions about the QC results?
If you aren’t sure that you need to fix the errors found or if you have questions regarding the errors found, please send a comment on the order. Do not call the client directly unless specifically asked to do so.
What are the steps to resolving QC errors?
1. Customer and notary are notified of QC error(s) via email/order.
2. Notary comments on the order either to let title know that they are correcting the issue or, if unclear, asking if the errors need to be corrected.
3. Notary promptly corrects error(s) by communicating with signer.
4. Notary ships package immediately.
How does this impact my rating on Snapdocs?
There is currently no direct impact on your rating currently but we are planning on adding QC results in the future. That said, customers are still able to provide their own review.
Note: It’s important that you resolve errors and ship the package as quickly as possible to prevent closing delays. Failure to do so could result in negative reviews and/or reduced fees.
