As a notary signing agent you will be paid for orders by the signing service.
If you have not been paid yet, we recommend contacting a company by the following:
-
Leaving a comment on the order
-
Sending an email to the client
-
Phone call to the client
We also recommend reviewing the company’s Terms of Service who hired you as well as the How do I receive payment for signings I complete? article for additional information. While we’re unable to provide financial or legal advice, these tips can assist you in making a decision that best suits your situation and evaluate if you would like to take additional actions to pursue payment.
Snapdocs is only involved in payment if a company is enrolled in VendorPay, our direct deposit payment feature. In this case, Snapdocs is the one who processes notary payments, which means we're able to look into what might've happened to your payment. Reference the Determining the Payment Method for an Order to identify if the order is VendorPay.
If a company is not using VendorPay for their notary payments, the best course of action is to continue to try and get in contact with the company that contracted you for the signing, as they are the ones responsible for your payment.
